Rodman
I was maybe 13
during that last
run when Dad
snagged the rare
tickets from a fellow
sales guy. All
I remember is
his green head
bobbing across
the court, a dot
on a stat sheet,
the light Gatsby
leaned toward,
the rock MJ palmed
from Carmen’s
bed, dragging him
back to practice—
his triangled
strides churning
the glassy wood.
